Chimney Sweeping Service, South Lanarkshire

The main method of sweeping we use is manual rods with aid of an industrial power vacuum or in some instance power swept with the aid of a drill.

Our vacuum cleaners are used in conjunction with a circuit-breaking device and have a very high flow rate. They are fitted with more than one motor and filtration capabilities.

A special adaptor on the vacuum hose is inserted through a slit in low-density foam blocks used to seal the fireplace or stove opening.

The vacuum is switched on once the brushes have been inserted the throat of the flue to contain dust within a fireplace whilst the chimney is swept. It creates negative pressure within to safely extract soot and creosote and pick up remaining dust after process in complete.
